This scholarship is offered to promising young undergraduate students in social sciences, natural sciences, electrical engineering and computer science, who are aspiring to become leading scholars in their field. The students are expected to continue their graduate studies through the KFAS Doctoral Study Abroad Program.

||1st round: written examinations in English, mathematics, and the applicant's major
2nd round: applicants who have successfully passed the first round examinations are invited to the final interview

In order to prepare for graduate studies overseas, undergraduate students selected for this program must attend English classes, seminars in their major, special lectures, and fulfill their reading requirement. This training program begins in March of each year.
